Sneak peek of a beautiful session from recently. I really can't wait to share the rest and tell the full story of how it came about.

I always learn something every time I shoot. I played with light at this session, really experimented. I knew Sara trusted me and I knew my boundaries (pushed them, slightly). I'm so happy with the outcome.

I also learned what it looks like to have lifelong friends. These girls have been making an effort to keep in contact for over ten years: pretty incredible. If you feel like I left you on the edge of your seat, you'll just have to wait until I published the blog post! ;)

We are en route to San Francisco to hang out with family and for a beautiful engagement session. We have been praying for good weather and sunshine and I think that is exactly what we are going to get! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We are heading back to Europe in about a month and planning on shooting more than ever before! We need some new prints for our home and we are thinking maybe some of you are too ;) Anyone have must-see's or must-do's in Germany?

We have many friends and family members here supporting us (thank you). But we know many of you do not know us! This is me, Kelsey. I am definitely more comfortable behind the camera but I'm grateful for experiences that land me in front of the camera

I fell in love with photography not to create something pretty but to capture moments to have forever; I just so happen to love when those moments are beautiful

These days, I've been dreaming big and trying to bring those dreams to fruition. Learning more about business, learning more about photography, and most importantly, learning more about myself. I used to create content for others and I've actually found it more difficult to create content for myself and find my own voice. But I do love making mood boards, so I usually start there. And there is another half to Kels & Michael; his spotlight is coming.

In February of last year, we found irresistible flights to Paris that would land us there for a week over Christmas. The ideas immediately started rushing into my mind.

Just how in this photo, inspiration for color was taken from the model’s beautiful hair color and there aren’t many other elements to the photo except for elegant florals and natural waves.
